find lost outlook files after easy transfer

Hi There,
Can anyone assist me? I have just completed the easy transfer of the default
files from my old PC to my new PC and I seem to have lost all the new folders
and emails in my outlook. These were on the new PC prior to the transfer.

I don't know whether Easy Transfer transfers the Outlook PST file. Plus,
Outlook has to be installed before you can read it or Windows Mail can
import from it.

Thanks Frank,

I installed MS Offcie 2007 on both computers and I used the easy transfer
and the downloadable assistant to load the files from my old computer on to a
pocket HD and then I used the easy transfer to load the files onto the new
coputer from the pocket HD.
