Folks,
I must apologise in advance. I've already posted this under a different
title, but thought a new Subject may attract those of you who didn't fancy
the 1st one. The problem is as below
When using the Search function in XP SP2 I get presented with a dialogue box
which is headed "eplorer.exe - Application Error". The Window conatins the
following text
"the instruction at 0x00000000 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory
referenced could not be read
Click OK to terminate the program
Click Cancel to debug the program"
The Shell (windows explorer then crashes, and we lose the desktop completly.
In some instances Exploerer will proceed to re-launch itsefl, after a few
moments. In other case it does not.
What is consistent is that using Find, either from the Start Menu, or by
selcting a folder and Right Clicking, causes this to happen
This is happening on many (not all PC's) in my workplace. The PC's are all
in a Windows 2003 DOMAIN.
Any help you could give would be most appreciated
