Find and Replace

In a column of cells i have various product names with a space then S or R to
denote rental or sale. For example A1 has the text "Pants Size Small S" or
"Widget Racer R". how do i get rid of all of the S's or R's at the end
without deleting them at the begining of the other words. I cant figure it
out with find/replace. It messes up the words "Size" and "Small" there are
4500 unique items so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
 
Hi!

Use a helper column and enter this formula:

=LEFT(A1,LEN(A1)-2)

Copy down as needed.

Then select the range of formulas and do a copy/paste
special/values.

Then you can delete the original list.
