Finalising cd-rws

Does anyone have a solution to how I can play cd-rws on my
household dvd player? It is cd-rw compatable but insists I
must finalise my cd-rw before it will accept it! I can not
find how to do this on my standard xp system. I would be
very grateful as I only bought my dvd to play cd-rws on
the big tv!!

are you using nero? if you do, erase everything on that
cdrw and put in data using nero. in the Write dialog box
and under the burn tab there's an option there
to "Finalize CD"
This dialog box by the way, comes up if you close the
Nero Wizard.

Many thanks for taking the time to answer my query. i
downloaded a demo version of "nero" as I have no idea it
was so convuluted! I assumed you could just copy video on
to cdrw's and away you go! Naive heh! Well Nero seems to
do it. I record the file as a vcd and success! Takes ages
(one hour for 40 minutes of film or so) but at least it
works.
