I am using a filter to display rows with a "X" in column J. Some of the rows
I always want to show, such as category titles, kinda like a default template.
Is there a way i can get them to always show without having to put a "X" in
the rows J cell?

Where are the rows located?

If all at the top, just insert a blank row below the titles etc. then put
your autofilter arrows on the row below that.

If interspersed throughout the sheet, you will need a different
function.............not autofilter.

Elsewise..........use the "x"

no, there is a category title row than 5 selections, than another category
title row and more selections. All together are 12 categories each with 5-15
selections. it won't do any good to have all the category titles on the top
and all the selections mixed together. Is there a way I could make the
category rows not apart of the filter?
