Hi

In Outlook 2000 can you modify and save the filters.txt file to add new
filter rules? I have tried and the ones that are there work but if I add a
new one it doesn't. The file is saving successfully so I can't see why this
would be.

The Filters.TXT file only described the Junk Mail filter but it doesn't make
any difference if you change it. The actual rules for Junk are burned into
an user-unchangeable DLL file.
