Filtering - Limited to 1000 Unique Entries

For some reason today when I set my filters it's only allowing me t
view the first 1000 entries. Previously I used to be able to view th
entire list of entries through the filter. Does anyone know if
changed a setting? How can I get back to view all entries through m
filters?

That's all you get in the drop down list. Right from the Help files ..

"Only the first 1000 unique entries in a list appear when you click the
arrow.."
 
You must have had a special version of XL. AFAIK, no version of XL has
been released that displays more than 1000 entries in an autofilter
dropdown...
