Chris

Is there a way to filter for blank "From" field or blank message bodies?
Been getting many with this and I just want to delete them.

My thanks in advance.

Filtering emails:

This might help...

Go into 'Tools', then 'Message Rules', 'Mail'

In section 1. The Conditions for your rule:
check the box "Where the FROM line contains people"

In section 2. Select the ACTIONS for your rule:
check the box "Delete It"

Select 'Options"

Under 'Apply Rule If'

1. Click the radio button 'Message does not contain the people below'

2. Click the radio button 'Message matches any one of the people below'

Click 'OK'

Click 'OK'

Then 'Apply Now'.

This will transfer addresses in you email address book to appear
in you Inbox. All the rest will be in the Deleted Items.

If you want to put additional addresses in the 'approved' list, go back to
'Tools, then Message Rules', then 'Mail'where you will see the
rule you created.

Click on the word 'Does Not Contain'. In the window, type in the email address
you want included to be in your 'Inbox'. Click 'OK'

To save typing the email address, RightClick the email whose address you want
to add. Then LeftClick 'Properties', then LeftClick 'Details'

Highlight the email address between the <...............> then RightClick
then 'Copy'
Go back to 'Tools', then 'Message Rules, 'Mail'
Click on the word 'Does Not Contain'.

In the window, RightClick then 'Paste' the new email address in the approved
list.

you want included to be in your 'Inbox'. Click 'OK'

Tools | Message Rules | Mail
Click in the box "Where From contains people".
Click the blue "people" below.
Type a and click Add. do the same for e, i, o, and u, clicking Add each
time.
In the Action box choose Delete it and Stop processing more rules and click
"OK".

Do the same for Subject.
