filter stopped working

I was searching a table by right clicking the field and typing something in
the filter. Somehow I've done something that broke it but only for one
field. I can still filter in other fields and find the records I want but in
this field regardless of what I type, there is no result. I never save
changes when I close the tables and I have tried clicking remove sort filter
but it still doesn't work.

From the Main Menu choose:
Records \ Filter \ Advanced Filter/Sort

This will show you exactly what filter is currently applied or will be
applied with you turn it on.
 
I tried that and on this table, it doesn't specify a field or sort or
criteria.
 
On a different form though (not table) i do see there is a field and
criteria. Is it safe to just delete it?
