User has longstanding database she didn't create and is not a power user.
She inadvertently changed "something" yesterday. Now when she opens a
particular form, she expects to see the first record displayed, Instead, no
records are shown and the bottom counter shows you are in record #1. If she
clicks on Records and does any sort or filter, such as Sort A to Z or Remove
Filter/Sort, all 275 records show on the bottom counter and the first record
is displayed on-screen. We cannot find any filter that has been applied nor
do we see any setting in Tools | Options that may be causing this behavior.
Anyone have any ideas what she may have done? Thanks.

Unfortunately, the database in on her C: drive so we cannot have it
restored. Bummer!

In design view on the properties for the form, is there a filter listed? It
would be under the data tab. Is there a control source AND a Filter?
Occasionally when you apply a filter on a form and then close it, the filter
remains in this property. If the filter returns no records then remove it,
but leave the control source.
As always, make a copy of the database just in case beforehand, and for
backup purposes you should have a copy somewhere else anyway!
Are you keeping the data in the same database as the forms and queries?

My user reports that she has now deleted a record and done a Save and Close
and now the database is working just fine. I'll keep a copy of these
instructions in case the problem crops up again.

Thanks for your detailed instructions!
