Svetlana

Hello,

For some time I have been receiving spam mails with a special
characteristic:
they are completely empty, sometimes even the header is missing.
The mail server does not filter them and Outlook (2003) lets them
through.
How can I define a rule to have these empty mails automatically sent
to the recycle bin?

Thanks.

How have you defined your rules and is Outlook's junk filter set to high? I
have had several of these types of mails go automatically to the Junk
Senders folder where they are deleted as soon as I see them.

Thanks for your answer!
How have you defined your rules
I have not defined any rule about empty mails because I don't know how
to do it in this particular case.
is Outlook's junk filter set to high?
It was set to "low". Now I set it to "high".

Actually I was not very keen on setting it to "high", because I used
to in the past and although it did a pretty good job for junk mail,
unfortunately it also filtered mails from friends. That's why I was
using the "low" option up until now.
Now the empty mails changed the situtation. They are a real pain in
the neck.

Let's suppose I set the "low" option. My question remains:
| How can I define a rule to have these empty mails automatically sent
| to the recycle bin?
