Filter last two weeks of emails

I have dozens of emails that I need to go through and seeing them all at once
is slightly overwhelming. I can change the view to see the last 7 days, but
can I see the last fortnight? Can't seem to choose that from the list.

Or...

Can I somehow use the group by box, to group all emails in weekly batches,
then I could open a week's emails, deal with them and go onto the next week.
In fact, this option would be much better for me.

Can anyone help? - Wendy

You can create a custom view to show only mail received between certain
dates but unless you use Outlook 2003, you can't do a good job grouping
them.

WIth Outlook 2003 you can sort by Received date and use Show in Groups to
display the messages in a format similar to what you seek. You'll have
categories of "Today", "Yesterday", each prior day for the current week
(i.e., "Tuesday", "Monday", "Sunday", etc.), a category for "Last Week",
"Two Weeks Ago", "Three Weeks Ago", "Last Month", and "Older"

Brian,

Thanks for this - it sounds exactly what I want, however I forgot to mention
that I have outlook 2000 sr-1. Can I also do it in this version?

No. It was a feature added in OL 2003. However, you should be able to
create a filter which shows only the last two weeks. View>Current
View>Customize Current View>Filter. The Advanced filter options should
allow you to choose messages newer than a certain date. Perhaps the
"Received this month" criterion would suffice.

Many thanks for all of these, guys. Looks like I should be upgrading to 2003!
