Filter in Access 2007

KBDB

I have a form that has a subform within it. It is setup as Parent and Child.
When I click on the Child's field and then click on the Filter (off the
menu), I get a message saying: syntax error in query expression. After I
click OK then I get the filter box. When I take my link (Parent and Child)
out, then I don't get the error. I then tested creating 2 links and the
error doesn't happen. I only want one link and this doesn't look very good.
Is there a reason for this? Does Access 2007 not support this?

Thank you for your time.
