Filter deleted items by date deleted

One of my coworkers accidentally deleted all the mail (about 3,000 items)
from his inbox this morning. He needs to retrieve them from deleted items and
restore them to his inbox. The problem is there are about 22,000 items in his
deleted items folder. Rather than going back and looking through several
months of all that old deleted mail, is there a way to filter the deleted
items mail by the date they were deleted? I looked in all the options under
"customise current view" but found nothing. We use Outlook 2000. Thanks.

Sorry for all the posts with the same question. When I tried to post, I kept
getting an error saying the server failed to receive the post and to try
again. In the end, I guess it really did accept them.
