Filter by Form not working

Hi,

I've got a main form containing three tabed subforms. My problem is
that I cannot type in any value in the subform when i select "filter
by form". The filter option works when i select text in the subform
and then click "filter by selection" but will not let me enter values
in with filter by form. WHY?!?! if anyone knows how to solve this
problem then I will be forever indebted (I've spent a lot of time
trying to figure it out). Thanks

Is filter by form working in the parent form?
You know that FbF is not available for runtime applications, right?

Yes the filter seems to work on the main form. I'm not sure what a
runtime application is.

Nevermind Tom, I finally figured it out. The subform was locked for
some reason. Well the actual form wasn't, but when the form was
embedded in the main form it was. It's hard to explain what i'm
talking about but it's all working now. Thanks for your help.
