I need to fill in a series of numbers, but in groups of 3's. For each of my identification numbers I have, for example 5000, there is an A, B, and C. Each group of A,B, and C has to have the same lab analysis number assigned to it. Then the next identifiation number,5001, will have the next lab analysis number assigned to it. How do I fill in a series that will fill 3 rows at a time with the same lab analysis number?

A1: 5000
B1: 5000
C1: 5000
D1: =A1+1

Select D1 and fill down.
