filling and printing documents

I need to fill in the blanks of a court document without changing the
original document, then print the document after filling it in. Can someone
help me Please? I am using word 2003 I believe. Im sure you word vets are
laughing and I dont blame you! I dont mind as long as someone can help me!

You'd need to convert it to a form. That is not a simple task. Most of us
don't recommend bothering if this is a one-shot deal.

It is a one shot deal ...My dicorce papers. very important I have very bad
handwriting and no lawyer. I really need the information. Please.

The only practical way to do this for a one-off is to scan each page of the
papers and insert the images as full page graphics set behind text. Build
the document over the top with borderless tables and fill in the data.
Finally remove the background images (you can select them using the white
arrow selector on the drawing toolbar) and print. Print to thin plain paper
and hold it over the original document and make sure the text goes in the
right places before printing on the document. This can take hours of work to
get it right for a complex document. It would be better to use a pen and
write slowly!

I too have atrocious penmanship so I understand but you'll be married a lot
longer if you try to turn it into a form. I'd suggest sitting down at the
table and take your time filling the form out.

BTW - having been thru a divorce myself, I know how difficult they are even
if it's for the best. Take care of yourself.
