fill horizontally

I have excel work sheet in Excel 2002. It has data being entered vertically
in cells like this

However elsewhere I want to refer to the vertical cells and have the data
appear horizontally like this.


1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10


Is there a trick to doing a =A1 and down and have it fill horizontally?

One way:

Say you're filling from column 2 ("B"):

=INDEX(A:A, COLUMN()-1)
