Fill Color

When I tried to shade a cell in a certain spreadsheet, there are only
limited colors available. But in some other spreadsheets, i can see the
"more colors"option available.

How do I choose from a wider range of colors?

Could you modify the palette by going

Tools->Options->Colors

Choosing a colour that you don't use, and then using "Modify" to pick a
color using the standard

RGB / HSL type colour picker?

The "more colors" option is available only in certain cases.....

i.e. objects like Wordart, Text boxes, pictures.

For cells shading, you will have to follow the "modify" route that Bob
suggests.
