TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. HELP ME PLEASE. I HAVE WINDOWS XP

What type of file is it? What's the extension

Media Player and other similar programs require codecs in order for it to be able to decode the file and play it back. Sounds like it's a format that Media Player doesn't have the codec for. You can search for it on Microsoft's site of use google and try to download a codec there.
