Files & Settings Transfer Wizard

Ran the F&S Transfer Wizard to check it out. Got to the screen
explaining what to do on the old computer, then cancelled out,
planning to do this later. When I clicked Cancel, got a message that
it was undoing changes made to my system. This message (and the
sweeping icon) remained up there forever, until I used End Task to
stop it. Not very confidence-inspiring, particularly since there
shouldn't have been any changes to my system for it to undo...
 
I ran the F&S Transfer Wizard from an XP Pro to a
different XP Pro PC, both PCs were DELL GX260's. No
settings, sounds or favorites were copied over. It did
copy files. I have administrator rights to each PC and I
had installed all the latest Windows Updates on each PC.
How can I get this wizard to copy over all the settings,
sounds and favorites?
