Files & Settings Transfer Snafu

I recently reformatted and reinstalled WinXP SP2. However, I'v
realized my last data backup only contains the IMG00001.dat file, no
the other associated files produced by the Files and Settings Transfe
Wizard. Is there anyway to reconstruct or bypass these files, an
thus allow me to restore the data hidden away in that .dat file
