Hello,

I have a friend with windows XP and he is using a virus
scanner to remove a virus he has. The problem is the virus
scanner reports back that files are password protected and
it cant dissinfect them... whats the deal with this? how
can he take that off so the virus can be removed... They
files are files like this

c:\documents and settings/all users\application
data\spybot - search and destroy\
recovery\advertizingcom.zip/sbrecovery.ini is
password protected

and

c:\documents and settings\George Limona\Local
settings\temp\tll50.tmp is locked for writing
by other process

Brandon

There is no Password-PRotection in Win XP!
But the Scanner correctly says, that the ZIP-Archive is PW-protected.
You can find PW-Crackers for ZIP-Files in the internet.
Or simply delete sbrecoveringcom.zip !
