files opening blank

Got a problem with opening existing files. They open without error bu
no cells are visable. Only the grey background.

A new workbook will open fine.

They open fine in safemode ie, excel /s but not normal.

I've tried re-registering excel with /o and /regserver but no joy.

Any idea's? :confused:

Strange but I think booting windows 98 into safemode and opening one
then reboot seems to have cleared it
