My Norton Firewall wants to block the
Files\MSN\MSNIA\WA\ClientSideProxy.exe What is this
file? What is it used for? Should I block it or allow
it?

Thanks.

Neil,

ClientSideProxy.exe is used as part of MSN. I'm not sure exactly how
important it is, but it's not anything bad if that what you are worried
about (well it's not Spyware e.t.c). You could always block it to see if it
appears to make any difference to your Internet access.

ClientSideProxy.exe is an add-on executable included within MSN9 to
allow for the MSN Dial-Up Acceleration service. Killing this service
will prevent you from getting an accelerated narrowband experience.
You should leave it running.
