files in I386 folder on XP Pro cd not reconized

I am trying to reinstall XP pro from the cd on my
computer, but when it gets to the point where it is
copying certain files from the I386 folder is acts like
the CD is bad and it can not read the material from it. I
can copy files off of the CD just fine and it acts like
there is nothing wrong with the CD, but when it comes to
the installation I am dead in the water. Any suggestions?

Ray, try moving or copying all the files from the CD to the Hard drive and
do the reinstall from there.
