Files Having No Owner, Access Denied

I have several files stuck (i.e. "Access denied") on my
machine after restoring to an older state.
Apparently the MS Knowledge Base article # 810881 is
describing the issue correctly, but its solution does not
work for me, because I have No "Use Simple File Sharing"
field in the Folder Options and "No Security Tab" under
right-clicking on file -> Properties either.

CACLS, from command-window, does not work on these files,
while it is working on other system files.

?= What other way could I assign or change the owner for
files having no owner?
?= Or how can I delete them without adding owner?

Try rebooting into Safe Mode. Do you see the options you're looking for ?
