Files Downloading Each Time a .PPS File Opens

I have sent a .PPS file to another user. He downloaded the file to his
computer, but the program needs to download the images in the presentation
each time it opens. This takes about 5 minutes every time the file is opened.
The PowerPoint Show opens immediately whenever I open it. Do you know why the
other user is having this problem?

Which version of PowerPoint are you/recipient using? Did the recipient save the presentation to his computer or are they opening it from your email every time? How did you insert your images?

I'm not sure which version on PowerPoint (I'll try to find out). He has saved
the file to his PC. The images were inserted via Insert - Picture - From File.

Looks like everything was done as it was supposed to. Any chance that I could have a look at the presentation. If so, send it to (e-mail address removed) keeping the same subject line as here in the newsgroup.
