files called .rim

I bought an external hard drive backup device called svault......the
software that came with it was put out by Regen.....it compressed 25
gigs into files ending with .rim.....I cannot open these files up and
was wondering if anyone has ever encountered this program and been
able to decompress the files....tried winzip and jzip and pkunzip
programs nothing help...help can anyone help me....Pat
 
The .rim extension is probably proprietary to that Regen software,
meaning nothing else will open those files.
