Files and Settings Transfer Wizard Help

My desktop system runs XP Pro SP2 and I ran the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard to back up its files and settings. The back up exists on an external hard drive (E:\FileXfer).

When I go my laptop that runs XP Home SP1, I run the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard, select New Computer, select Other, select the path (E:\FileXfer) and receive an error that it cannot find the files/settings.

Does the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard require XP between the two computers to have the same service pack, or is this a difference from XP Pro and XP Home?
