files and folders

can i get the files and folders ( both stuff that came
with the pc and personal stuff ) sorted out and put into
the correct place and get all the duplications that are
not needed, deleted? No system restore points were made
when the system was ok (as i didn't know about it) and as
i've tried to sort things out myself, needless to say the
problem keeps gtting worse. often get a msg saying
files/folders have been moved or changed. Please Help...i
would be soooooo pleased and would promise never to mess
it up again! thank you

prob not......get someone who really knows what they are doing to help
you...HANDS ON...
 
Actually judging by what you said even a restore point would not help.
It would put program files back to whenever but would not touch your
personal files.
I really would suggest talking to your friends to find one that knows
computers and have this person come over and reset as well as show you how
to save personal files into specific folders.
