Files accompanying HTML downloads

Is there any way to turn off the automatic downloading of
the separate files (graphic, etc.) that accompany HTML
Web pages when I save them? They clutter up the windows &
I get tired of deleting them.

I'm looking for a way of changing the default, but you
can change manually the setting when prompted with the
file name. There's a drop box at that point that
says "Web Page, Complete" which saves all the extras. If
you change that to "Web Page, HTML Only" then you'll just
get the HTML doc, and no graphics for offline use.
