FileOpen/Save outside the My Documents folder?

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to make the FileSave/Open dialog
boxes wander outside the My Documents folder?

It seems a bit restrictive as it is. I mean what if you want to open a
file on a CF or SD card?

this is standard behaviour on the Pocket PC platform (not the same with
other Windows CE.NET platforms). You can read from storage cards - either
they must have a My Documents folder on them in which files will be listed,
or an ignore_my_docs file in which case it is not specific to the My
Documents folder on the card.

Oh, thank you. Do you know if this is language dependent?

I mean, on a non-english system, would a folder called "My Documents"
on a CF or SD card still show up in the FileOpen/Save dialog boxes?
