FileDownloads in IE6 - No Download Dialog Box

Guest

In IE6, I cannot seem to figure out why when I download an exported file from
from banking institutions, I see a quick flash of a download box that says
something about temporary something but does not let me pick the file
downlaod location. When I do this from other machines, on the same banking
instittion web sites, I get a download dialog box that appears with the
typical "Open" or "Save" file options. Is there some setting that is
different betwen my two computers? What can I do to fix this error?

Hi

Try this ...

177976 Not Prompted to Specify Download Folder for File
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=177976

I think the only difference for Internet Explorer 6 is that you need to
click "Advanced" instead of "Edit".

Kind regards
