Is there a way to cause all the files to display the same view (i.e., list
rather than icon) and do it in one process without having to go to each
individual file? I have looked around some but unable to figure it out.
Thanks

Open Windows Explorer, select View, set it to List. Go to tools and select
Folder Options. On the View tab click "Apply to All Folders. That should do
it.
