File Types

Hello,

Does anybody know how to query the OS to find out register file types, as
listed under Explorer Folder Options? Also is there a way to get the icon
for a specific file type?

It's got to be stored in the registry somewhere, but I'm not sure how.
Try a google search.

Also is there a way to get the icon
for a specific file type?

Make sure you read the reply to this post. There was a "Dispose" call
omitted from the demo code.
