File Types That Are Recognized by Windows- HELP!!!!

J

Jon M

Somehow the file association between .txt files &
notepad.exe has become lost on my system. Am able to set
it to default to wordpad but not notepad...

Notepad's there, works ok; interestingly, it doesn't show
up on the list of File Types That Are Recognized by
Windows in the window where you can change file
associateions, and when I go to browse it and select the
app, it doesn't associate.

Help!!!

Thanks in advance,

Right click on a .txt file and left click on properties. It will open up a new menu and click the "open with" button. Select notepad and click ok.
