file transfer

Connected old and new computer with rs-232c serial cable.
Will not communicate in transfer wizard. HELP!!!!!
 
You can not connect the 2 computers with standard rs-232c serial cables.
Both systems use the same wire to send and receive. You need a NULL Modem
rs-232c cable.
