File transfer using remote access

Is there a method to transfer files using remote desktop
or do i need to set up an ftp site?
 
Using the newer version of the RD client, you ought to be able to redirect
your local/locally mapped drives to the connection in the RD client
connection properties....presuming you're connecting to a WinXP Pro computer
or Win2003 server.
