File tab vs. Microsoft Office button in Word 2010

is there any way to find out if the "File" tab seen in the Word 2010 Office
2010 Release Candidate is going to permanently replace the Microsoft Office
button seen in the Beta release of Word 2010?

aware of between the Release Candidate and Beta?

Actually, the public beta (Version: 14.0.4536.1000) already has the file
tab. There is no change between the beta and the closed RC as far as I know
with regards to that functionality.

As Yves pointed out, the public beta already had the File tab instead
of the Office button. If you have access to the public beta, as far as
I know there are no differences in the user interface between that and
the RC. The RC is all about making sure the bug fixes work.
