I have a file that no matter what I do the file size will
not reduce. I deleted all the graphics, took out the
background and it still is a very large file, Is
something embedded in it that I can't get to?

A couple of things to try:

1. Click "Tools", "Options", "Save" TAB. Uncheck the "Allow Fast Saves".
2. Click "File", "Properties", uncheck the "Save Preview Picture".

Resave your presentation and see how you did. If you still have problems,

Go to Tools > Options > Save. Do you have Allow Fast Saves turned on? If so,
turn it off and save your presentation to a new name. Compare its size to the
size of the previous version. Has the size dropped dramatically?
