file siz problem for email

i received many ppt from people that contains 30 -40 pictures with ppt
animation in it and their file size is between 4-6 mb which make them
avaiable to send via email.

how come my ppt which has only 10 pictures with each picture not over 450kb,
and with little ppt animation and the file size is 45-50 mb. I even applied
the "compress picture" in the save option.

what's wrong with my ppt? i have popwerpoint 2007.

you must save it in 2007 format which reduces the size
in .pptx format not . ppt.
