I had a similar problem that was caused by the Norton
Firewall. Try temporarily disabling the firewall in each
computer. If that solves the problem, enable the
firewall and configure a firewall rule (I used the
firewall networking wizard) to allow each computer to
access files in the others. That worked for me.
