Last year I converted from a Windows 98 to a Windows 2000
computer. The old computer was password protected from any
network users (LAN using a Linux server, if that's
helpful). The problem is that when I set up the 2000 box,
other users' machines still require a password to access
my machine even though I never set passwords up when I set
up the Windows 2000 box! I have tried every passowrd that
I have ever used AND I've tried not putting in a password
at all! I can't find where in 2000 I can change/edit any
password (in 98 I did it through Network in the control
panel). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Go into Computer Management/local users and groups/users which is where you can
create users and reset passwords on existing users. There will be at least one user
in there - the local administrator. --- Steve
