sharing drives between 2000 and 98 second ed on lan

I have 3 machines on my lan and the 2 98 machines can read
and swap files but when I go to go on to the 2000 Pro
machine the box asks for a password. I have only used 2
passwords on the system but they don't work and the 98
machines can't read any drive or use the printer connected
to the 2000 machine. Is there a location to set the
password permissions for sharing on the 2000 machine. in
make a connection when I want to allow another computer to
come in it only shows the parallal port and dial up modum,
not the lan

Asked and answered daily. Check other posts in this
newsgroup that have "98" in the Subject line.
