FILE SHARING BETWEEN DIFFERENT OPERATING SYSTEMS

I HAVE A DESKTOP WITH WINDOWS 98SE AND A LAPTOP WITH

WINDOWS XP HOME. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF FILE SHARING IS

POSSIBLE BETWEEN THEM.

If you wish you can certainly do that. And the file system for the XP
machine, FAT or NTFS, doesn't matter either. Oh, and W95 and Win ME and
almost any version of Linux or Unix should work too as should Windows for
Workgroups if you can still find it somewhere.
