I installed a new hard drive and made my old one the slave. However, I don't
know if I actually HAVE all the old files and all migrated to the new hard
drive or not, because I have not figured out how to do it. How do I use File
settings transfer wizard to trnasfer things form the slave completely ove to
the new master on the SAME computer? I need detailed instruction. Thanks
for the help.

Thanks for the help.
I would like to just save all my files from a fast transfer to a cd-rw. But
how? he says this: ""FAST supports CD-R/RW, providing it is supported by
software to look like a “big floppy,†e.g., by Direct CD or InCD. One quick
way to test if you can use CD-R/RW is to try to access the drive from a
command prompt." Well, what IS a command prompt?
thanks

Click Start, Run and enter CMD This will open a command prompt window. Or go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt.

In XP what you get at Start - All Programs - Accessories - Command
Prompt. Usually in earlier systems as 'MSDOS Prompt', and referred to
as a 'DOS Window'

Note that if you install Direct CD or InCD on your 'source' machine, you
will need to install it on the XP 'target' before you can retrieve the
data from the disks

thank you for the help!
