Is there a way to put a button on one of the tool bars that would Insert
File Path? I use it often in my footers and would like a shortcut. I cannot
find it in the Customize dialog box.

Thanks,

Gordo

If you have Word 2003 or earlier, you'll find the "Filename and Path" item in
the list when you select the AutoText category in the Customize dialog.

In Word 2007, it isn't available as a button for the Quick Access Toolbar
(unless you write a macro that inserts it, and add that macro to the toolbar),
but it's still available in the Keyboard Shortcut dialog so you can make a
shortcut for it.

Super! Thanks, Jay.
