File order always

But, in the dialog box there's the possibility to have a List, Details, Thumbnails, etc. view, why this setting isn't saved?

Many programs use the Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) Common Dialog for
Open and Save As dialogs. The common dialog only lists the file names and
extensions, and doesn't have a details option. The MFC is part of Windows
and contains most of the user interface code that applications use for such
common tasks as command buttons, text boxes, menus, selection boxes, combo
boxes, title bars, window borders and most other things connected to output
and other user interaction. DirectX adds some graphics and game controler
functions connected with sound video and games.

The only option from here is to set a folder via Common Dialog/Places Bar at
root level. From there, the setting(s) will be saved.
