File manager like hierarchy on a form

I have an asset hierarchy for the plant with parent asset and child asset in
the asset record to create the hierarchy. So the top level parents have a
null parent asset. All children of asset A have asset A in their parent
asset. The hierarchy can go on for many levels.

I would like to be able to present this in a file manager format so when the
user opens the form he sees the top level parent. He can click on a plus
sign to expand that level and continue down the form. I have accomplished
this with a subdatasheet on the table; but it gets real messy real quick. Is
there a way to present this data on a form?

You can use a Treeview control.
